FOREST HILLS, QUEENS -- A Queens man who claims he likes to collect guns now faces jail time for his hobby after police uncovered a "lethal force of illegal weapons and drugs" in his Forest Hills home, prosecutors said Tuesday.

George Mirzayans, 52, was busted with seven guns, several rounds of ammunition and nearly 11 pounds of drugs when police raided his home on Thorton Place early Saturday morning.

Mirzayans told police he collects guns but admitted he does not have a license for any of them, said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.

"Illegal firearms in our communities pose a grave risk to everyone," Brown said.

Among the guns police recovered from Mirzayan's home were a Winchester Super X Rifle, a loaded .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a .30 caliber lever action rifle and a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol, charges state.

Cops found about 10 pounds of marijuana and more than a half pound of cocaine in the raid, along with a measuring scale and spoons with cocaine residue on them, according to the complaint. They also found nearly $5,000 in cash in the house.

When asked about the drugs, Mirzayans allegedly told police,"I sling coke a little bit at a time. I smoke weed and I sling a little bit," the complaint states.

Mirzayans was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on 20 felony and misdemeanor charges for possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a weapon, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a pistol or revolver ammunition, according to court records.

His bail was set at $100,000 cash and he was ordered to return to court on June 25.

NYPD Deputy Inspector Robert Ramos, commanding officer of the 112th precinct, took to Twitter the day of the raid to congratulate the Queens North Narcotics team on "removing these guns and drugs off the street."
