Cheese Of The World In Forest Hills To Shut Down

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A beloved cheese shop in Forest Hills will close its doors for good this month, according to a Facebook post.

Cheese of the World, located at 7148 Austin St., posted on Wednesday that it would close at the end of the month, driving a loss for the community that is sad to see it go.

“It’s been an incredible run and we are proud to have been a part of Forest Hills history,” reads the Facebook post by the shop.

Still, the shop hinted it might come back in some way, shape, or form.
