Community House to Host Great American Songbook Concert Tonight

The Community House will host the first-ever fall musical tonight for Forest Hills Gardens with a selection of tunes from "The Great American Songbook" performed by local singers.

Singers from Queens will perform well-known numbers by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rogers, Oscar Hammerstein, Frank Loesser and a variety of other celebrated songwriters.

Doors will open at 8 p.m. for the show.

Tickets cost $52.50 and include open bar. All money raised from the event will go toward The Community House's programs, which include activities for children and social events for adults.

The Community House is located at 15 Borage Place in Forest Hills Gardens.
