Drink Beers For A Cause In Forest Hills

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS - Oktoberfest is almost here, but you don't have to trek to Munich to drink some great beer.

The Community House in Forest Hills Gardens is holding its second annual Beer in the Gardens tasting event on Oct. 1 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Proceeds from tickets, which cost $25 each, will go to the Face To Face Project. The organization aims to fight hunger abroad by helping communities build gardens.

Beers at next month's event will include Big Alice, Finback, Rockaway and Singlecut.
