Fall Kills Man at Queens Center Mall: Report

A 28-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon after jumping from the third floor of the Queens Center Mall, according to published reports.

The New York Post reported Wednesday that the man, who has yet to be identified by police, went into cardiac arrest after the 30-foot fall. Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the scene, taking him to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The incident happened in one of the mall's rotundas near Macy's, with shoppers and store managers all expressing shock.

No criminality is suspected in the incident.
