Firefighters Involved In Kew Gardens Car Crash, FDNY Says

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS — Firefighters rushed to a car crash in Kew Garden Friday morning only to discover members of New York's bravest were involved in the collision.
Firefighters from Engine 298, stationed on the edge of Briarwood, were in a car crash at Hillside Avenue and 136th Street about 9:50 a.m., according to the FDNY.
Fire officials did not answer questions about what prompted the crash, what kind of vehicles were involved, or how many.

"Engine 298 was involved in a minor car accident," officials said.
No one was hurt in the crash, which is now under investigation, according to the FDNY
