Forest Hills Bank Robber Strikes Again In Northeast Queens, Police Say
In both robberies the man walked into a Chase Bank and passed a teller a note demanding cash before running off with money, police said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A man who authorities say stole money from a Forest Hills bank Friday robbed a second bank in northeast Queens Tuesday, according to the NYPD.
The first robbery happened Friday afternoon at a Chase Bank on the corner of Union Turnpike and Queens Boulevard.
At about 4:40 p.m., a man walked into the bank and passed a teller a note demanding money, police said.

Out of fear for her safety, the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, which the man took and ran off with, according to the NYPD.
A similar situation played out Tuesday afternoon at an Oakland Gardens Chase Bank, when a man — who police believe to be the same person — passed a note to a teller demanding cash, and ran off with $1,000.

Police described the robber as a 30-something year old man who stands at 5-feet, 10-inches, and included a surveillance photo.
