FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Aigner Chocolates is bringing some brightness to Elmhurst Hospital.
The Forest Hills chocolate shop collected 315 rainbows through its "Rainbow Bunny Chocolate Initiative" this month, giving out free chocolate bunnies to kids who dropped off a hand-made rainbow art piece.
Aigner will deliver the drawings this week to the hospital, where health care workers are on the frontlines of New York City's coronavirus crisis.

“We wanted to do something to help the community, and the best way for us to spread a little joy is through chocolate," Rachel Kellner, co-owner of Aigner Chocolates, said.
Aigner has donated more than $5,000 worth of chocolate since the start of the pandemic, which brought a drop in business and, as a result, an abundance of leftover Easter chocolates, according to Kellner.
