Forest Hills COVID Rates At All-Time Highs: Data
The rate of positive cases in Forest Hills is much higher than at any other point in record for the neighborhood.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS —Weeks into the city's latest COVID-19 surge, virus rates are higher than ever in Forest Hills, where about a sixth of people tested positive last week, according to the latest city data.
From Dec. 19-25, 798 people in Forest Hills tested positive for COVID-19. That is a positivity rate of about 15.92 percent in ZIP code 11375.

The highly contagious omicron variant is now the city's dominant strain, according to health officials, and the city as a whole reported 27,774 new positive tests on Tuesday — just behind the record set days earlier of 31,024 new cases.
Hospitalizations remain low over the past 28 days, and there were no deaths reported in Forest Hills from Nov. 17-Dec. 14.
