Forest Hills Library Slates January Events For Children

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The Queens Public Library in Forest Hills scheduled its events for the month of January, paring the activities with holidays during the month.
The branch, located at 108-19 71st Ave, will host an event dedicated to Martin Luther King on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m.
“The children will learn about Martin Luther King by stories and his quest for peace and inclusion that will be read aloud,” according to the event’s poster.

The children will then partake in an arts and crafts activity.
The library’s second event will celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 4 p.m. Forest Hills children will listen to rabbit-themed stories and make a necklace in honor of The Year of the Rabbit.
