Forest Hills Nonprofit Offers Salsa Classes For Families

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Families looking to up their dancing game will have a chance to get together in Forest Hills and learn a couple of moves.

Queens Community House, located at 108-25 62nd Drive, will offer salsa classes to parents and teens on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 6 p.m.

The center is offering an array of activities geared toward helping young Queens residents and adults in the neighborhood.

Next week, the nonprofit will offer sessions in English and Spanish for New Yorkers between the ages of 14 and 24 to help them apply for the city’s Summer Youth Employment Program.

Last month, the food pantry at the Forest Hills Older Adult Center reopened amid renovations for the center.
