Forest Hills Teacher Charged With Attacking Her Mom: NYPD, Report

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A public school teacher who police charged with assault on Friday was allegedly arrested after attacking her mother in Forest Hills, one source reported.

On Friday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., police arrested Melissa Goldschlager, 33, in Forest Hills on assault charges, NYPD records show.

The New York Post reported that the charges came after Goldschlager shoved her mom in the middle of a fight, causing her mother to hurt her lip.

Police officials told the Post that the teacher's mother was left with a "small lip laceration."
