This is is the second time this summer that the Metropolitan Avenue exit is closed, forcing drivers to get off earlier at Exit 4.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Getting to Forest Hills from the Jackie Robinson Parkway is going to be a bit more complicated in August, the New York State Department of Transportation is warning drivers.
Exit 6 from westbound Jackie Robinson Parkway to Metropolitan Avenue — which crosses through Forest Hills and other central Queens neighborhoods — will close daily from midnight to 5:00 a.m. starting Aug. 11, weather permitting, the transportation agency said in a news release.
The exit ramp should reopen on the morning of Monday Aug. 23, the NYSDOT said.

Notably, the exit ramp won't be closed on Tuesday Aug. 17, according to the NYSDOT, which only listed closures from Wednesdays through Mondays.
Drivers can instead take Exit 4, and follow the signed detour, to get to Metropolitan Avenue during these closures.
