Japanese Grocery Store Moves To New Location In Forest Hills

Sakura-Ya opened its new location on 72-50 Austin Street.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A grocery store that sells Japanese snacks, drinks, cosmetics, and other goods moved to its new location in Forest Hills this month.

Sakura-Ya opened its new location on 72-50 Austin Street on Dec. 2 from 73-05 Austin Street just a few doors down. The store sells kitchenwares, household goods, and sweets as well.

The retailer also has a deli that sells Japanese takeaways like rice bowls, curry rice, and lunch boxes.
