FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A man stands accused of threatening the judge who granted bail to Glenn Hirsch, the aggrieved customer suspected of killing a Queens delivery worker over a duck sauce dispute, The New York Daily News reported.

Court sources told the outlet that Chunhua Hu, a regular at Great Wall Chinese restaurant where slain delivery worker Zhiwen Yan worked, told a court officer that Judge Kenneth Holder "will have trouble" if he released Hirsch on bail.

In response to the threat, Hu was taken into custody and charged with obstructing government administration, The Daily News reported. He told the outlet he plans to hire a lawyer.

Soon after the threat, Hirsch was freed from detention on Rikers Island after his brother reportedly posted $500,000 cash bail — an outcome vehemently opposed by Queens lawmakers and neighbors.

The Queens resident is now under house arrest and awaiting trial in Yan's fatal shooting, for which he was hit with murder charges and pleaded not guilty.

Hirsch stands accused of killing Yan after a months-long campaign of threats against Great Wall employees over a duck sauce dispute, prosecutors said.

Between December and April, Hirsch allegedly threatened violence against workers, vandalized their vehicles and harassed them outside the restaurant, according to his indictment.

Hirsch's wife was also arrested in early June and hit with criminal weapons charges after police found eight guns and ammunition in her Queens home, multiple outlets reported.

In the wake of his tragic death, Yan has been remembered by co-workers, family and neighbors as a caring community member and loving father.
