LIRR Experiencing Heavy Delays to Queens
There are delays up to 30 minutes between Penn Station and Jamaica.
The Long Island Rail Road is currently experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes between Penn Station and Jamaica in both directions due to a third rail problem in East River tunnels.
The LIRR plans to cancel, combine or divert as many as 15 a.m. peak trains.
NYC Transit is currently cross-honoring fares at Hunterspoint Avenue and Jamaica for straphangers traveling to Manhattan.
