Man Bashed In The Head At Forest Hills Subway Station: NYPD
The two men rushed onboard an R train, bashed a subway rider on the head and fled the Forest Hills station, according to police.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Two masked men rushed onto a train in Forest Hills Thursday and bashed a subway rider on the head before fleeing the station, according to police.
The 35-year-old was attacked at about 9 p.m. when his R train pulled into the 67th Avenue station, the doors opened and the two men rushed onboard, police said.
The men — who wore black masks and hoods — hit the man and an "unknown object" then fled, police said.

Their victim, whom they left cut and bleeding, was taken to a nearby hospital, according to the NYPD.
The suspected attackers, estimated to be in their 20s or 30s, had not been found as of Monday morning, police said.

The incident, which is one of the latest attacks in the city's subway station, happened a couple of hours before an older woman was kicked down the stairs and bashed with a hammer in a Long Island City station.
Police, however, said that as of Monday there is no connection between these attacks.
