Man Steals $900, Credit Cards From Woman In Kew Gardens: NYPD

The man stole the 24-year-old's purse inside the laundromat located at 80-57 Lefferts Blvd. on April 21, police said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A man stole hundreds of dollars and credit cards from a 24-year-old woman at a Kew Gardens laundromat in late April, police said.

The man stole the 24-year-old's purse inside the laundromat located at 80-57 Lefferts Blvd. on April 21 around 9 p.m., the NYPD said. Police said the purse had credit cards and about $900.

The man then tried to use the credit cards at a chicken eatery in Kew Gardens, but failed, authorities said.

Police released images of the thief on Friday.
