National Night Out: 112th Precinct Helms Celebration At MacDonald Park
NYPD's 112th Precinct joins City Hall officials for the annual celebration Aug. 1.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — It’s that time of year again when New York City communities join the NYPD and City Hall officials across 70 citywide locations for the annual National Night Out Against Crime on the first Tuesday of August. This year, National Night Out takes place Aug. 1 as the 112th Precinct teams up with Transit District 20 at MacDonald Park — between Queens Boulevard, Service Road and Yellowstone Boulevard — from 4 to 6 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
Residents will meet local leaders and personnel while interacting with neighbors and local businesses with the common goal of partnership and safety, according to the city website.

There will also be games and activities for youth, and residents will receive information on ways to work with the NYPD and keep their neighborhood safe.
