FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — After months of cold weather, a trip to Hawaii wouldn't sound too bad.

Anyone looking to avoid the 11-hour flight can travel instead to a new poke spot that opened last week in Forest Hills, joining other Hawaiian favorites like Kissfish and Mikihana.

Pokeplus, located at 107-15 71st Road, opened on Feb. 20, offering traditional Hawaiian bowls of rice, fish, and other ingredients.

Some of the poke joint's specialties include bowls such as Umami Salmon, Wasabi Shrimp, and Sweet Sesame Chicken.

Pokeplus is open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 .m.
