Off-Duty Corrections Officer Arrested
Local precinct site of arrest for criminal mischief.
An off-duty corrections officer was arrested in the 112 Precinct Friday evening. The 112 Precinct includes Forest Hills and Rego Park.
The officer, Javier Colon, 28, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief.
Police did not elaborate on the specific incident that resulted in Colon's arrest.
