Police Seek Man Wanted For Attempted Rape In Queens: NYPD

Police said three victims, including a 14-year-old girl, were grabbed or touched inappropriately Thursday in Queens.

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man suspected of attempting to sexually assault three women during the day in Queens on Thursday.

Police said the man, believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, first approached a woman on 104th Street, put his arms around her and lifted her up by her buttocks around 10:40 a.m. The 20-year-old woman resisted, and the man fled on foot, police said. She was uninjured.

Just after 12:30 p.m., a 14-year-old girl was grabbed by a man and pushed her into the bushes at the corner of 84th Avenue and 118th Street, police said. When the tried taking the girl's pants off, she fought back and the man fled. The girl was uninjured.

Half an hour later, a 24-year-old woman was attacked by an unknown man in the area of Woodhaven Boulevard and Forest Park Drive. Police said the man grabbed the woman's lower body, pushed her to the ground and pulled down her sweatpants. The man fled when the woman, who was not injured in the incident, fought back.

The NYPD released surveillance images Friday of the suspected attacker, described as 5-foot-8 and approximately 140 pounds.

He was seen wearing a red-and-white-striped shirt, khaki cargo shorts and white sneakers.
