Police Seeking Man in Union Turnpike Robbery

Man passed a note to teller demanding cash.

Police in the neighboring 107 Precinct are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery on Union Turnpike.

On Friday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m., a suspect entered Sovereign Bank at 150-28 Union Turnpike. He approached the teller window and passed through a note demanding cash. After receiving an unknown amount of money, the suspect fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction. 

The suspect is roughly 40-years-old, 200 pounds, 5'7", with brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black cap and brown jacket.
