Quinn, Koslowitz Raise Rape Awareness
Free self-defense course offered later this month.
Mayoral candidate Christine Quinn and Forest Hills City Councilwoman spent Tuesday evening raising awareness of local sexual assault attacks in Forest Park and Corona.
Police arrested a suspect in the most recent incident Tuesday afternoon, just hours before Quinn and Koslowitz took to Austin Street.
There will be a free self-defense training course for women at Queens Borough Hall on Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m.
