FOREST HILLS – Burgers and fries at Smashburger could soon come with a beer or a cocktail at the Forest Hills location.

Smashburger applied for a liquor license, which could give the hamburger chain permission to sell alcoholic beverages if approved, a representative at the Queens Community Board 6 confirmed.

It wouldn’t be Smashburger’s first location selling alcohol. The eatery opened a location in Denver, Colorado, where the company is based, that serves draft beers and cocktails.

The burger chain told FOX Business in April that the company plans to open a second full-service bar in New York.

Besides burgers, the eatery also serves wings, chicken tenders and salads.

At the community board’s meeting Wednesday, members also stated Almaz Palace, a Glatt Kosher restaurant at Rego Park, also applied for a liquor license.
