Suspicious Package Sightings Triple Since Terror Threat

New York is a city of edgy people, but this past week it's also been a city of people on edge.

Three times the normal number of suscious packages were phoned in to 911 since last week's was announced, according to .

"Suspicious package calls have tripled in the city since this threat, and that’s fine," said Leyson. "Let us come out and do the investigation," he added.

Leyson has an easy litmus test for deciding whether or not to call 911 over a suspicious package. If the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, then make the call, he advised.
