Tech Incubator To Open In Forest Hills, Help Startups Seeking Offices

The incubator in Forest Hills is set to open "in the coming months" as tech companies apply for the program to receive a working space.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS – Tech startups looking for an office space can apply to the Queens Tech Incubator program, which aims to open a hub in Forest Hills.

The incubator in Forest Hills is set to open “in the coming months” as tech companies apply for the program to receive a complimentary working space, according to the Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Queens Tech Council.

The first tech incubators opened on Friday in the Rockaways and Jamaica, and other locations are scheduled to open in Long Island City and Flushing.

“One of the most important actions we can take as elected officials is to help create job opportunities for our constituents, and this new Queens Tech Incubator space will provide local startup companies the resources to grow,” said State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. in a statement.

Tech companies looking for a working space can submit their applications here. The 3D App, Beacon Zone Technology, and Mind Lightning Studio were among some of the chosen startups to work in the incubators at Jamaica and the Rockaways.

The Queens Tech Council will review the application on a rolling basis and select the companies.
