Thursday: Investment Seminar at the Library, Hunger Documentary

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., is holding a seminar today during which attendees can learn about types of investments, common investor problems and scams.

The event, which begins at 2 p.m., will also include a discussion on how to protect investments and include tips on how to avoid being a victim and keeping track of investments.

The Sacred Heart JOBO Center, located at 215-35 38th Ave. in Bayside, will host a screening of the documentary film "A Place at the Table" at 7:30 p.m. The film, which is narrated by Jeff Bridges, focuses on child hunger.
