FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Tom Petty and his band The Heartbreakers will perform at Forest Hills Stadium July 26 and July 27 for the final two shows of the band’s 40th anniversary tour.

Featuring special guest Peter Wolf, the concerts cost $49.50 to $165 to attend, depending on section availability, and can be purchased through the Forest Hills Stadium website for the Wednesday or Thursday show.

What time is the concert?

Doors open at 5 p.m., and the show begins at 6:30 p.m. Forest Hills Stadium has not yet released set times for either concert date, but those who purchase tickets can call AXS Support via (888) 929-7849 for more information.

Where is the concert?

Forest Hills stadium is located at 1 Tennis Place in Forest Hills, Queens. Per the stadium website, the best way to arrive is via public transportation; there is no parking available at the venue or on the streets near the venue.

The stadium has provided instructions on how to get to the venue by subway, LIRR, car service and walking.

What is the bag policy?

Guests are allowed to bring a bag, but the maximum allowable bag size is 16 by 16 by 8 inches, which means that, per the Forest Hills Stadium website, most small, soft-sided bags and purses are allowed. All guests and their bags will be subject to security screenings, and there is no bag or coat check inside the venue.

What can’t I bring?

  • Outside food and beverage is prohibited. There will be a variety of food and beverages, including alcohol, for purchase inside the stadium. Each guest entering the stadium may bring in one factory-sealed plastic water bottle sized 40 ounces or less.
  • Smoking, including using vape pens
  • Hard-sided containers, including coolers, briefcases and ice chests
  • Blankets and umbrellas
  • Chairs and strollers
  • Weapons
  • Laser pointers or glow sticks
  • Video or audio-recording equipment, including professional cameras
  • Pets
  • Incendiary devices
  • Camelbacks
  • Large backpacks or duffel bags
  • Drones
  • Spray paint, markers, Sharpies and paint pens
  • Frisbees
