Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot has soared to $636 million, which could make it the second largest drawing in the game's history.
The largest Mega Millions jackpot to date was the March 30, 2012 drawing for $656 million.
Tickets may be purchased until 10:45 p.m. today for the 11 p.m. drawing.
A jackpot winner would have 60 days from the date of winning the game to elect to receive the prize as a lump sum or annuity. The current cash lump sum is $341.1 million before tax withholdings.
