Racist Graffiti Scrawled In Forest Hills Elementary School: NYPD
Three men broke into the school to spray-paint racial slurs inside a classroom then ran off with cash and a gift card, police said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Three people broke into a Forest Hills elementary school and spray-painted racist graffiti throughout the building before running off with cash and gift cards, the NYPD announced Monday.
The as-yet-unidentified trio broke into P.S. 175, also known as The Lynn Gross Discovery School, on the corner of 102nd Street and 65th Avenue on March 26 about 4 p.m., police said.
Once inside, the threesome spray painted anti-Black racial slurs in classrooms and stole $100 in cash plus a $150 gift card before running off through a side door, according to the NYPD.

Police said that the incident is being investigated by the Hate Crimes Task Force.
The NYPD released photos of the three people suspected of spray painting the racist graffiti and stealing from the school, but as of April 11 — over two weeks after the incident — no arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation, police said.

Police described all three suspects as men between the ages of 16 and 20.
