2 Firefighters Hurt In Massive Blaze At Glendale Auto Shop: FDNY
Smoke eaters had yet to extinguish the fire in the collapsed building as of 10:20 a.m., officials said.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A massive fire destroyed a Glendale auto repair shop Wednesday and sent two injured firefighters to the hospital, the city's fire department said.
The four-alarm broke out at Parts Authority, located at 89-40 Metropolitan Ave. about 6 a.m, according to officials.
More than 160 smoke eaters were still battling the blaze in the one-story building as of 10:20 a.m., officials said.

The firefighters sustained minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals, the city department said.
The building collapsed, but no injuries were reported as part of the collapse, officials said on Wednesday.

The cause of the fire has not been announced by the fire department.
"We're still trying to get access to stubborn pockets of fire," Tom Currao, Deputy Chief at New York City Fire Department, said in a press conference Wednesday morning. "We're going to be operating for quite some time."
About 50 Emergency Medical Services officials were at the location.
