Van Morrison And Tom Jones To Take To Forest Hills Stage Saturday

FOREST HILLS, NY — Music veterans Tom Jones and Van Morrison will be hitting Forest Hills Stadium Saturday at 7 p.m.
Earlier this year Morrison, 77, released a new blues album, “What’s It Gonna Take?” Last year, he released a greatest hits album.
At 82-years-old, Jones is no slouch.

Jones released his 41st studio album, “Surrounded by Time,” in April 2021. The album is a mixture of electronica, folk rock and soul.
Some songs that Jones is expected to perform include classics like “It’s Not Unusual” and “What’s New Pussycat,” according to Concert Archives, a music site.

Jones is also expected to sing “I Won’t Crumble If You Fall,” which are the last words he spoke to his late wife Linda before she passed away from cancer in 2016 after 60 years together, reported Express, a British outlet.
Morrison is expected to perform his version of “Think Twice Before You Go,” a song originally performed by blues impresario John Lee Hooker, according to Concert Archives.
He is also expected to perform “Dangerous,” a new song of his current album, which criticizes Northern Ireland’s anti-lockdown stance during the Covid-19 pandemic, reported NME, an entertainment news site.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the show. The stadium is located at 1 Tennis Pl.
