Jackie Robinson Pkwy Car Crash Leaves Virginia Man Dead: Police

QUEENS — A car crash in Glendale left one 28-year-old man from Virginia dead over the weekend, police said.

Brandon Michael Peterson, from Richmond, died in a car crash on Saturday after losing control while driving a Mercedes Benz sedan on Jackie Robinson Parkway, near Exit 4, and struck a road sign and several trees before he was ejected from the car, the NYPD said.

Peterson was driving his 2011 black Mercedes Benz E350 on March 11 about 6:30 at “an apparent high rate of speed” before he lost control and passed over the grass median, hitting the objects, authorities said.
