Wednesday: Singles Event at the Y, Free Kids Yoga Class
Also, Barnes & Noble is hosting its weekly children's story time event.
The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., is holding an event for singles, ages 55 years and above today at 7 p.m.
The event, which will include cheese and crackers for snacks, costs $5, but is free for Y members. Advance reservation is required. Call 718-268-5011, ext. 160, for more information.
Forest Hills' Barnes & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St., is offering its children's story time event at 10:30 a.m.
The event includes an age appropriate story and other activities for youngsters.
And Bayside's The Queens Dance Project, located at 34-57 Francis Lewis Blvd., is offering a free kids yoga class at 5 p.m.
The class, which is aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 12 years, will also include games, crafts and stories.
