Wonder Woman Day Celebrates Hero At Forest Hills Comic Book Store

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — To celebrate the release of DC Comics' most recent movie adaptation, one Forest Hills comic book store is throwing a Wonder Woman sale.

Royal Collectibles at 96-01 Metropolitan Ave. will be hosting its Wonder Woman Day June 3. All comics related to the hero will be 25 percent off throughout the day and all graphic novels will be discounted by 20 percent.

The store will also be handing out free tiaras, gauntlets and Wonder Woman comics.

A Wonder Woman actor will be roaming the store for photo opportunities between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. All Wonder Woman geeks are also invited to attend a trivia game starting at 6 p.m.

Royal Collectibles will donate $1 to New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence for every sale during the day. A donation box will also be placed in the store.
