1 Killed, 1 Hurt In Nassau Shooting
The shooting occurred late Friday morning, police say.
Authorities are investigating a shooting in which one man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Hempstead on late Friday morning.
Nassau police say the shooting occurred on Wellesley Street around 11:03 a.m. One man succumbed to his injures while the second man was taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Homicide Squad is at the scene of the incident.
