Accident Snarls Traffic on Nassau Boulevard
The 67-year-old driver told police he reacted to the sound of another vehicle's horn, police said.

A one-car accident snarled traffic on Nassau Boulevard Friday as village police and firefighters secured the scene.
The accident occurred in the northbound lanes just north of Cambridge Avenue. The affected lanes were closed for almost an hour while crews cleared the area.
The driver, a 67-year-old man from Franklin Square, told police he reacted to the sound of another vehicle's horn, Garden City police commissioner Kenneth Jackson said. The pavement was also wet at the time of the accident, which damaged a sign and light pole.
No injuries were reported, village police said.
