Burglar Swipes Cash From Deli In Nassau: Police
The front door glass had been shattered when officers arrived, Nassau police said.
UNIONDALE, NY — Cash was swiped during a break-in Saturday at El Rinconcito Delio in Uniondale, Nassau police said.
The 42-year-old deli owner called 911 and told the operator that an unknown person had gone inside the deli on Jerusalem Avenue while it was closed at around 8:20 a.m., according to police.
When officers arrived, they saw the front door glass had been shattered and an undisclosed amount of money was removed from the register, according to police.
