Nassau County Holding Supply Drive For Ukrainian People

The county Legislature is collecting much-needed supplies to help with humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Legislature is holding a collection to help the people of Ukraine suffering under the Russian invasion.

The Legislature has put out collection boxes at different county-run locations, and residents can drop off supplies at any of them. The boxes will be collecting medical and personal hygiene supplies.

Residents can drop off donations at the boxes between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, from now until March 25.

  • Children’s allergy medicine
  • Tylenol/Advil
  • Gauze
  • Wipes
  • Masks
  • Surgical kits
  • Wound care supplies
  • PPE

Personal Hygiene

  • Toothpaste/toothbrushes
  • Bar soap (no liquid)
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Deodorant
  • Hairbrushes
  • Blankets
  • Socks
  • Coats
  • Sheets/pillowcases

  • Eisenhower Park Admin Building (Merrick and Stewart Avenues, East Meadow)
  • The Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building (1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola)
  • Cantiague Park (480 West John Street, Hicksville)
  • Grant Park (1625 Broadway, Hewlett)
  • Nickerson Beach (880 Lido Blvd, Lido Beach)
  • Wantagh Park (One King Road, Wantagh)
  • Christopher Morley Park (500 Searingtown Road, Roslyn)
