East Nominating Committee Seeks Candidates for Village Trustee
All potential candidates must submit a resume and letter of intent by Nov. 15.

The Garden City East Nominating Committee is seeking residents of the East who are interested in being interviewed for the position of village trustee. This position is subject to election by all village residents and serves for a two-year term, which begins April 1, 2014.
Any resident of the East who is interested in being considered must submit a letter of intent and a resume. This should include their name, contact information, a brief summary of their professional background, other qualifications and a statement explaining their interest in the position of village trustee.
Any interested parties must submit this information to the chairperson of the EPOA Nominating Committee, P.O. Box 7525, Garden City, New York 11530 or via email to judycourtney123@gmail.com by Nov. 15. All potential candidates must be current residents of the East. All prospective candidates will be interviewed by the East Nominating Committee, which is responsible for making the candidate selection.
Members of the Nominating Committee were elected by residents of the East last June: Judy Courtney, John Donachie, Matthew Durnan, Andrew Galligan, Jr., Jamie Gans, Maureen McConnnell, Walter McKenna, Patrick McNamara, Ken Moody, Gerri Moratti, Ted Rechner, Robert Stark, Jr., Leo Stimmler, Matt Teri and John Wilton.
