Free Tickets Available For Annual Afternoon Tea

Tickets for this event are free to Garden City School District senior citizens and past parents, but limited to two per person.

Mark your calendars!

Garden City Public Schools will hold its fourth annual Afternoon Tea for Senior Citizens and Past Parents on Thursday, May 9, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. This event transforms the high school’s cafeteria into a lovely dining venue, complete with gorgeous table designs with all the trimmings.

This year’s Afternoon Tea is sure to bring smiles to guests’ faces as students share their musical talents, display outstanding art works and serve up traditional teas along with some tasty treats, many of which are donated by Garden City businesses.

Our suggested dress code is suit jackets with ties for gentlemen and Sunday dresses with hats for ladies.

Tickets for this event are free to Garden City School District senior citizens and past parents, but limited to two per person.

There are two ways to acquire tickets for this year’s event:

1. Guests can request tickets by mail by filling out and returning the form on page 20 of the 2013 Spring Continuing Education brochure. The bright yellow brochures will be mailed to all Garden City homes shortly.

2. Guests can pick up tickets in-person at the Administration Building, 56 Cathedral Avenue, on Wednesday, April 24, from 4 – 6 p.m. Please bring a driver’s license or other I.D. for proof of residency.
