Garden City's Smok-Haus Voted Best BBQ On Long Island

GARDEN CITY, NY — If you're in the mood for some great barbecue, Garden City has you covered. Smok-Haus, a barbecue restaurant on 12th Street, was just voted to have some of the best food on Long Island.

The restaurant has a wide array of grilled offerings. But it was the wings, ribs and pastrami sandwich that were just named the best in the 2022 Bethpage Best on Long Island awards.

The judges called the wings at Smok-Haus "a boneless chicken wing sensation."

And the ribs were also mouth-wateringly good. "The dry rub, melt in your mouth ribs at Smok-Haus are sensational and deserve a whole chapter," judges said.

Of the pastrami sandwich, judges raved that "every single bit is as delicious as the first."

Smok-Haus opened in late 2019, and offers a wide array of barbecue options. Their barbecue classics — like smoked ribs, pulled pork and brisket — are paired with things like stuffed porchetta, smoked tacos and more. There are also signature cocktails available to accompany your delicious barbecue.
