GCHS Students Stage ‘Rodgers And Hammerstein’s Cinderella'

GARDEN CITY, NY — After weeks of hard work, Garden City High School students stepped on stage for a production of “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.” Inspired by the acclaimed 1997 teleplay starring Brandy and Whitney Houston, this version of the magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers and Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance.

Student-actors put on a total of three performances in front of live audiences. They even traveled to the district’s elementary schools to give the younger students a glimpse of the show. Students were excited to step on the Garden City High School stage and bring the audience inside of their fairy tale.
