Man Charged With Sexual Abuse After Incident With Girl, 11, At LI Mall: Police
He ws charged with first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, police say.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A Franklin Square man was arrested after reportedly inappropriately touching an 11-year-old girl at the Sephora store at the Roosevelt Field mall, police said.
Riken Acharya, 21, fled the store just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
Officers located Acharya nearby and placed him under arrest without incident, authorities said.

Acharya is charged with first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
