Man Burglarized Several Nassau Businesses This Month: Police

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A man was arrested early Tuesday in connection to a string of Nassau burglaries, police said.

Peter Granath, 31, who has no known address, was accused of burglaries at five shops from March 12 to March 26, Nassau County police said.

Along with five counts of third-degree burglary, he faces third-degree criminal mischief, authorities added.

Police said Granath burglarized:

  • Al Hassanin Convenience Store, Hempstead
  • Politos Bakery, Herricks
  • Davenport Press Restaurant, Mineola
  • Westbury Golden Nail Spa, Carle Place
  • Perfect Salon and Spa, Westbury

He was expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.
