John Wilton to Address WPOA Tuesday
Chairman of the chamber's Merchant Professional and Retail Group will speak about health of village's business areas.
John Wilton, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Merchant Professional and Retail Group, will speak about the "health and growth of the village’s business areas, including the western section shopping district on New Hyde Park Road" at Tuesday's general meeting of the Western Property Owners Association (WPOA).
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Homestead School.
Mayor John Watras and western section trustee Bob Bolebruch will also update residents on village issues, including the new drivers’ education school at the Presbyterian Church on Chester and New Hyde Park Road and the Golf Club Lane senior center renovations, according to WPOA officials.
The WPOA will also be soliciting volunteers to serve on its Nominating Committee for village trustee.
