Kenwood Road Land Sells For $501K

The 7,100 square foot lot is the site of an explosion and devastating fire that erupted during superstorm Sandy.

The land where a 1950s Colonial once stood in Garden City's Mott section sold Aug. 13 for $501,000 a Douglas Elliman real estate agent confirmed.

The 7,100 square foot lot is the site of an explosion and devastating fire that erupted during superstorm Sandy when a fallen tree dislodged a gas line. An 87-year-old man was rescued from the home by Garden City father and son, Frank and Matthew Leto.
