LI Couple Evacuated From Coronavirus Cruise Ship

Garden City, NY — The Garden City couple who vocally appealed for help to the media during their time quarantined on the Japanese cruise ship Diamond Princess have been relocated to California along with hundreds of other Americans. Gaetano and Milena Cerulla were held on the the docked ship after coronavirus was discovered on the Princess Cruises vessel.

The Americans who arrived on US soil Sunday, the 16th, will need to spend two more weeks in quarantine. Milena Cerulla’s aunt Concita Ottaviano told Patch “I’m happy they are off that infested boat and on U. S. soil.”
