LI Weather: After Record-Setting Warmth, Cold Front Will Drop Temps
It may get colder, but it's still going to be clear and sunny for nearly the entire week.

LONG ISLAND, NY — After a weekend of record-setting warmth, a cold front is going to drop temperatures back down to normal today, with a precipitous drop coming this afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures should rise to around 75 degrees on Long Island today, which would be a new record-high for the region. However, temperatures will peak around noon, and then start to drop through the afternoon to about 68 degrees.
The cold front will cool things off drastically. Highs for Tuesday and Wednesday are predicted to be in the upper 50s. Thursday will see a high in the mid 60s.

Though it will be cool, it will be clear and sunny the entire week.
Friday will be even warmer, with temperatures climbing to the upper 60s. However, rain is likely later in the day, and will likely carry over into Saturday.
